1982 Aquarama Special #729

Brand new to the US market, present 1982 AQUARAMA SPECIAL 729, Andante.

AQ SP 729, is one of 8 iconic Riva Aquarama Specials delivered in 1982. As a fairly late series AQ SP, Andante features several differences from the earlier Aquaramas: more modern Riva VDO (gray face) instrumentation, windscreen mounted navigation lights, and the new leather wrapped Momo steering wheel. However, this Riva still retains the traditional chrome/brass deck hardware and the famous searchlight on the windscreen frame. The upholstery is in the preferred turquoise and ivory configuration.

Andante has been reportedly fully restored in Germany several years ago. This restoration included the replacement to Riva specifications of the hull sides, decks, spray rails, transom, all upholstery, overhauling of the motors etc, and chrome plating. The boat presently in perfect condition.

The boat was imported into the US in mid 2022, and only used a few times. When not in use, Andante has been indoor stored on it’s Riva cradle.

The fully and correctly upholstered cabin, with Vee berth for 2, is unused and still has the plastic on the cushions.

The unblemished Mahogany hull sides show spectacularly beautiful grain and color.

Of course, Andante has the Riva standard equipment included; Dacron Cabriolet top, chrome Riva water ski pole, mahogany Riva folding bathing ladder, sun deck cushions (3), cabin cushions, stern flag pole w/Italian yacht flag, Blue Riva bow pennant, Riva key holders & keys (2), blue Riva shipping cover, engine room tool box, foredeck mounted Danforth anchor with automatic retractable anchor line, and Riva fuel level measuring stick.
