1969 OLYMPIC #15
MILLIE MOON
This Riva Olympic is a superb example of Shipyard Riva’s final design of an open cockpit utility mahogany runabout, replacing the iconic Super Florida in the production line. Although this was a very successful model, with 264 units constructed from 1969 through 1979, currently there are only about 15 Olympics in North America. With a very modern bottom providing a comfortable ride, and a spacious aft section with substantial storage, the Olympic is ideally suited to cruising, water skiing, swimming, and other water sports. As with the Super Florida and Junior, the aft seat converts easily to a sun bed.
Olympic #15 now has an updated 270 HP Riva/Crusader motor, with only
2 ½ hours running time since long block and accessories (carburetor, alternator, fuel pump, hoses, etc) installation. This provides a respectable top speed of 44 MPH and a range of 5 hours at a pleasant cruising speed.
Given it’s size, the Olympic is easily stored and transported on it’s trailer.
All systems have just been serviced and tested so that Millie Moon is ready for immediate enjoyment, with all mechanics, upholstery, brightwork, chrome, and bottom in Bristol condition.
